Background and achievements

Summary of professional experiences over the last 14 years:

1. Perak Team (1995 – 2004)

Team’s back ground.
At the age of 13th he actives in cycling. He joined the Perak team as an amateur cyclist. The riders come from different background and experiences. As an ex state champion in track cycling, mountain biking and road cycling he was selected to represent Perak to participate in the SUKMA PENANG 2000 and SUKMA IV Games Sabah September 2002. He also participated in many road cycling events and adventure races both locally, national state level and Asean Tour. With his very good reputation and result the national team of the MNFC (Malasia National Cycling Federation) was called him to represent the Team for the Jelajah GAMUDA ETOM (Gamuda Eagle Tour Of Malaysia) in the year 2002.

However, he wants to focus towards cycling and would like to see more impact and challenging in cycling sporting and it is great for fitness. His interest in cycling also having a go most things has led him to participate in team endurance to joint the prestigious club cycling team.

2. Letua Cycling Team (2005 – present)

Team’s back ground.
· In 2004, he received an offer as one of the cyclist by the Letua cycling club. The team, registered as a Club in 1996 and since then it has been promoting cycling in Malaysia. The members hail from various background e.i architects, engineers, accountants, designers and riders as young as 18 years old to represent Letua. In 2005 has seen the team grow with goals and focus and it has surpassed many in the local and international racing circuit and gained fine reputation. The team also has positive prospect in regional races in Thailand and Indonesia. Some of the riders were absorbed to national team to represent the country in 2005 Sea Games in Manila, Commonwealth Games in Melbourne as well as tour of Taiwan in 2005. Based on good reputation gained, the Letua Club became a Continental team in 2007. The team has determined Jelajah Malaysia and Le Tour de Langkawi whereby the event involved many cycling teams of the world class stage. With more efforts, incentive, training and discipline it makes the team amongst one of the world’s highly reputable team.

He is also a bike maintenance and technical advisor for the Letua team and his cycling training; he plans of becoming a coach in future. He is keen to continue competing individually in local and regional events as he has competed in both on off-road cycling events. Brief achievements are as follows:-
